Landmark, located in Halstad, Minnesota was formerly the Norman County West High School. The mission of Landmark is to promote community and advance the self-sufficiency of residents of all ages in a state-of-the-art Community Education, Fitness and Recreation Center.
The City of Halstad was awarded a FEMA Community Safe Room grant to retrofit a portion of the south side of the former NCW High School. There is a local match of $225,000 just to complete the Safe Room with additional renovations of roofs, flooring, lighting and HVAC for a total project cost of approximately $1.6 million.
