Summer Recreation

Due to generous grant funding from the Dekko Foundation, Shock and Awe, and donations from local groups, Landmark is offering a 9 week summer recreation program at a nominal cost to families.  The goal of this program is to ensure that children have the developmental experiences that they need, at the time that they need them, to build their self-sufficiency and to help them grow socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually.  This program will offer a variety of activities for youth from 1st grade through 5th grade.

  • Summer Rec will run from June 10 to August 9
  • The program will be Monday – Thursday from 1 pm to 4 pm, Fridays from 8 am to 4 pm
  • July 1 – 3 and July 8 – 12 will be from 8 am to 4 pm
  • The cost is $40 per week per child
  • A light snack will be provided

LANDMARK

Landmark, located in Halstad, Minnesota was formerly the Norman County West High School.  The mission of Landmark is to promote community and advance the self-sufficiency of residents of all ages in a state-of-the-art Community Education, Fitness and Recreation Center.
