Halstad Fire Department Receives Generous Donation

Robin Stene, COO of Valley United, presented a generous donation of $10,000 (including matched funds) to Jeremy Melting, President of the Halstad Business League. The donation will be passed through the business league’s 501(c)(3) non-profit, Help Enrich Advance Retail (H.E.A.R.), to the Halstad Fire Department. Valley United’s contribution is being made as part of CoBank’s Sharing Success program, a fund that matches the contributions of CoBank’s customers to the charities of their choice. Halstad Fire Chief, Todd Westcott, stated, “We have had six new members join in 2021 and would like to have more join to balance out our response team.
