Utility Maintenance

Halstad Municipal Utilities (HMU) is looking for a Utility Maintenance worker who will be responsible for performing a variety of scheduled preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of water, sewer and storm water systems. This position is focused on the operation and maintenance of our city utilities buildings and will require a rotating on-call and weekend schedule. Persons interested in the position will need to understand streets and park maintenance scheduling as well as maintenance of equipment.

Requires a high school diploma. Desirable applicants will have two years of experience with water treatment plant operations, or equivalent experience and training.  The employee must also possess or obtain a valid Class B commercial driver’s license, with endorsements, within six months of hire. Heavy equipment experience, and knowledge of municipal utility operations are desirable.

Salary: $ 36,400.00 to $41,760.00 Annually 17.50 – 20.10

Full-Time or Part-Time Housekeeping | Halstad Living Center & Heritage House

The Housekeeping Department is resonsible for the overall cleanliness of the facility.

PT LPN or RN | Halstad Living Center & Heritage House

8 hr. PM shift.  Every 2nd-3rd weekend and every 2nd-3rd holiday.  PM shift differential.  Duties include providing routine care, passing medications, observing residents’ health, and communicating with doctors, residents and their families.

PRN/As needed CNA | Halstad Living Center & Heritage House

PM and NOC shift differential

Part-Time Cook | Halstad Living Center & Heritage House

Responsibilities include preparing and serving all meals, snacks, and supplements to residents, cleaning up after meals.

PT CNA | Halstad Living Center & Heritage House

A certified nursing assistant’s (CNA) main role is to provide basic care to patients, as well as assist them in daily activities.  8 hr PM shift.  Every other weekend and holiday.  PM and NOC shift differential.
